GUWAHATI: Assam State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that there are altogether 53 COVID-19 positive patients as on date in Kamrup Metro and Rural together.
Reportedly, Kamrup (M) has 37 and Kamrup (R) has 16 patients. Meanwhile, in Assam there are 8 districts which records zero cases.

Further, the minister stated that till now 40,033 persons have been tested for COVID-19 with around 1000-1200 test being held per day for the last few days.
