GUWAHATI: Assam has conducted 120 tests per 10 lakh population, informed Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press meet on April 18, Saturday.
He elaborated by stating that a total of 4400 tests have been performed in the state. Out of which, 34 have been confirmed positive, 4199 negative and the results of 167 tests are awaited.
Sarma added that these tests include those performed for Meghalaya and Mizoram as well.

"In terms of tests conducted, we are moderately placed. We have done more tests compared to other states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal," Sarma informed.
