GUWAHATI: Total COVID-19 positive cases in India has crossed the 7000-case mark and surged to 7,447 as on Saturday, April 11.
According to the ministry of health and family welfare, the death toll has risen to 239.
Out of the total number of cases, 643 people have been cured, discharged or migrated.
Further, Maharashtra has the highest number of positive cases in the country with 1,574 COVID-19 cases. It is followed by Tamil Nadu with 911 cases and Delhi with 903 positive coronavirus cases.
Further, out of the total number of cases, 6565 cases are active.
It is to be mentioned that Assam’s COVID-19 toll has reached 29, out of which one patient from Hailakandi died due to the virus.
