Due to the Coronavirus lockdown in the entire country, the public broadcaster- Prasar Bharati has decided to bring back the epics like Ramayan and Mahabharat on small screen.

Taking to Twitter, Prasar Bharati CEO Shashi Shekhar said that the team is trying to work out the logistics and the schedule will for the same will hopefully be out by end of the day.
It is to be mentioned that with people presently confined to their homes under the 21-day lockdown, the demand – at least on social media – for yet another run of these mythological series on Doordarshan has picked up wind.
