GUWAHATI: The Assam Police has launched a WhatsApp number and an email address as a helpline for senior citizens who are residing alone in the state, to help them in the midst of coronavirus scare.
The Twitter handle of Assam Police stated, "People of Assam, settled in different parts of the country or abroad, who have older relatives/parents living without any support in Assam can contact us through Social Media or Email for support."
The email address is 'osm-cyberdome@assampolice.gov.in' and the WhatsApp number is 9132699735.
