This extra date follows massive demand for the band’s three previously scheduled performances in Mumbai, set for January 18, 19, and 20 at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium, where tickets sold out within minutes.
Coldplay shared the Ahmedabad concert details on a social media platform, noting ticket sales will open on BookMyShow on November 16 at 12 PM IST. The post hinted at the scale of this performance, calling it their “biggest ever show.”
The ticket prices for the Ahmedabad show are yet to be disclosed, though fans expect a similar range to the Mumbai shows, which cost between ₹2,500 and ₹35,000, with VIP lounge passes at the higher end.
In response, the Maharashtra Police’s cyber wing has directed BookMyShow to implement stricter ticketing measures for Coldplay’s concerts, recommending name-based ticketing to limit resales and scalping.
