GUWAHATI: As per a notice issued by North Eastern Coalfields (a unit of Coal India Limited), all mining operations of the company in the Margherita area have been temporarily suspended from June 3.
Further, all necessary statutory formalities in this regard were directed to be taken up with concerned statutory bodies in the notice.
Liquidation of present coal stock will continue till existing coal stock is exhausted, the notice read.
