GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Sarusajai Stadium to take stock of the preparations for the 65th Filmfare Award scheduled on February 15.
CM Sonowal took to his twitter handle and wrote, "As Guwahati readies itself to host the Filmfare Awards, took stock of preparations at Sarusajai Stadium for the gala event. The event will witness plethora of popular Bollywood actors and will go a long way in boosting tourism in Assam."
It is to be mentioned that the tickets in Book My Show and Awesome Assam website have been sold out for the award ceremony.
It was also announced that 50 per cent sale proceeds from the ticket sale will go the chief minister’s relief fund.
Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh and Ayushman Khurana among other A-listers are set to attend the award ceremony.
Other probable celebrities who will be attending the Filmfare Awards include Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, director Zoya Akhtar as well as Hrithik Roshan.
