GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal announced financial aid of Rs. 50,000 towards the treatment of veteran Assamese actor Nipon Goswami.
The aid has been provided to Goswami from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for his ongoing treatment. A cheque of Rs 50,000 was handed over to the noted actor by Media Advisor to the CM, Hrishikesh Goswami.
It may be mentioned that the veteran actor has been ill for the last few days and was admitted to GNRC hospital in Guwahati.

Further, CM Sonowal also prayed for early recovery of the ailing actor.
