CM Sonowal may not be able to challenge CAT judgment in Apex Court

GUWAHATI: The Assam Forest Department is facing an extensive problem as the Supreme Court has evacuated Dr. A.M Singh, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest from his post. He was impugned in spite of being designated for the post by Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal. 

To fill his post, the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has coordinated the posting of Dr. Abhijit Rabha, who is as of now filling in as Special PCCF in the Forest Circle of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HoFF), Assam.
