GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal attended the banquet hosted by President Ramnath Kovind in honour of visiting US President Donald Trump at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi on February 25.
It is to be mentioned that only four Chief Ministers from Indian states were invited to the banquet. Chief Minister Sonowal is the only Chief Minister who was invited for this banquet. While attending the banquet, Chief Minister Sonowal interacted with the US President also.
Other Chief Ministers who were invited to the banquet include Karnataka CM B. S. Yediyurappa, Telengana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao and Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar.
