GUWAHATI: Haardik Khatuwala of Guwahati represented India in the Asian-Pacific Children's Convention which was recently held from 13 July 2018 to 24 July 2018 in Fukuoka, Japan.
This is for the first time that a child has been selected from Northeast India. He was among the 6 Child (3 Boy and 3 Girls) who represented India.
The convention (popularly known as APCC) was attended by 234 Students from around 46 countries and gave a unique opportunity to do culture exchange and interact with the Foreign country Children.
Haardik got an opportunity to showcase Assam and its culture in the convention and also visited the Japanese School and attended classes with his fellow Japanese friends.
During the convention, Haardik had the privilege of staying with a Japanese Naito family where he learned the Japanese way of living.
Haardik Khatuwala is a student of Class 7 of a city-based school in Guwahati.
