CID Assam detains 36 fraud callers in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The state’s criminal investigation department (CID) has detained as many as 36 persons who are allegedly involved in making fraud calls to customers to loot them.

As per reports, the CID officials have started investigating a few cases of Bank Account Hacking in various places in Guwahati.

According to officials, all the accused were involved in making fraud calls to customers and looting them.
