GUWAHATI: A child died after a wall collapsed in the Krishnanagar area in Lalganesh, Guwahati on May 29.

The incident reportedly occurred at around 2 PM.
As per eyewitness, the mother of the child was injured during the incident.
The fire department of the city confirmed the incident.
Four persons, including a school student, died in Assam on Tuesday in incidents triggered by Cyclone Remal, which also caused widespread damage bringing down trees, electric poles, thatched houses, etc.
Several areas in Guwahati continue to remain without power because of the many fallen electric poles. This is a developing story. Further details are awaited.
