GUWAHATI: The Chief Ministers and Governors of all the states in India will be invited to the Bihu Celebrations in Guwahati which will be held on April 14, announced Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
In a press meeting held today at the Janata Bhawan in Guwahati, the Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that an invitation will be sent out to all the Chief Ministers and Governors of all states of India, Ambassadors of the G20 countries and the Southeast Asian countries to witness the Bihu celebrations on April 14 where the Assam will attempt to set a record in the Guinness Book of World Records.
An invitation will also be extended to the international media personnel to cover this unique event at the Indira Gandhi National Athletic Stadium in Sarusajai, Guwahati.
Prime Minister, Narendra Modi will also be present at the event.
