GUWAHATI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has refuted claims made in recent media reports suggesting that the board cannot conduct board exams twice a year.

The article, titled "Cannot conduct Board Exams twice a year: CBSE," was published by popular national media houses on June 30, 2024.
In an official statement, CBSE clarified that the assertions made in the news item are unfounded and lack any basis in communication between the Ministry of Education and CBSE. The board categorically denied the imputation regarding its stance on the issue, labeling it as completely incorrect.
CBSE stated that there is no truth to the claims and that no such communication has taken place. The board has urged the public and media to disregard the misleading information and await official announcements for accurate updates on the matter.
