GUWAHATI: The Class 10 and Class 12 examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which had been put off due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, will now be held from 1st to 15th of July.
The Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal, took to Twitter yesterday making this announcement and conveyed his best wishes to all students who will be appearing for these board exams. "The students have been impatiently waiting for the schedule of the pending exams. It has been decided today that the exams will be conducted from July 1 to 15," he said.
Educational institutions across the country had been closed down and exams had been postponed when the central government announced a nationwide lockdown in March as preventive measure to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Lakhs of students across the country eagerly await in anticipation the final exam schedule, likely to be released by CBSE soon.
