GUWAHATI: A four-wheeler caught fire in the middle of the road near Lalmati on Saturday, March 22, causing panic among commuters. Fortunately, all passengers in the vehicle managed to escape unhurt.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sudden fire led to confusion, with onlookers struggling to find ways to douse the flames. Meanwhile, passing vehicles sped past the scene to avoid potential hazards, adding to the chaotic situation.
A traffic official from Basistha police station, speaking to GPlus, stated, “We believe there was some wiring problem which resulted in the fire. Fortunately, no one was harmed. We are trying to douse it now.”
Authorities are yet to determine the exact cause of the fire, while further investigation is underway.
