GUWAHATI: Local business establishments in Guwahati are observing a bandh today to mourn the deaths of CRPF Jawans in Jammu and Kashmir on February 16.
The heinous terrorist act claimed the lives of as many as 44 soldiers and injured several others.
All shops, business establishments in areas such as Athgaon, Fancy Bazar, Rehabari, Kumarpara and the adjoining areas are closed.

A shop owner in the Athgaon area speaking to G Plus said, "It was very disheartening to hear the horrific news. We can feel the pain of the families who have lost their sons, husbands, brothers and friends. We are sympathetic to the pain of the families."
