GUWAHATI: The budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will begin from January 28.
With the ongoing statewide protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, security has been beefed up in the assembly area.
However, it is not clear whether the AGP members will sit in the opposition benches or in their earlier seats.

Presentation of the Annual Financial Statement of the Government of Assam for the year 2019-2020 will be on February 6.
The month-long session which will conclude on February 26 will have 14 working days.
