GUWAHATI: Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) Chief Akhil Gogoi lambasted the BJP-led alliance in Assam and urged the voters in the state to boycott BJP and its partners, Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) and Bodoland People’s Front (BPF).
In a press meet, Gogoi said that if the BJP comes back to power again they would revive the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016- which had generated a lot of opposition in Assam and saw widespread protests.
Gogoi also urged Assam voters to wipe out the anti-Assamese forces in Assam by boycotting AIUDF in the state.
