GUWAHATI: The body of a man was discovered near Sukreshwar Ghat, Guwahati on Sunday afternoon, March 16, prompting an investigation by the Panbazar police.

The deceased has been identified as Kamal Jain, a resident of Kedar Road. Authorities are treating the case with caution as initial findings suggest no external injuries.
“According to preliminary investigations, there are no external wounds. A note was found along with the deceased. Further details will be out after the post-mortem report,” an official from Panbazar police told GPlus.
