GUWAHATI: A body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in the Chilarai Nagar area of Bhangagarh on Saturday morning, December 21.

The Bhangagarh Police confirmed that the body was found early in the morning and has since been sent for post-mortem examination. The identity of the deceased remains unknown.
Preliminary investigations suggest the possibility of poisoning or substance abuse as the cause of death. According to local residents, a commotion was heard late at night in the area, which is known to be a hotspot for illicit activities.
