BJP’s Amit Shah to address two rallies in Assam today

GUWAHATI: BJP President Amit Shah will visit Assam today, March 28 to address two public rallies in Kaliabor and Jorhat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. 

He is supposed to reach Kaliabor at around 1 pm and address a gathering there at the T Ao Rural Stadium to pitch BJP ally AGP’s candidate, Mani Madhav Mahanta. 

Then at around 3 p.m., the party president will address another rally at the Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology playground to campaign for BJP’s Topon Kumar Gogoi. 

Others who will be present at the two rallies include Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, NEDA convenor Himanta Biswa Sarma, State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, AGP president Atul Bora among others.

Shah will then leave for New Delhi from Jorhat in the evening.
