GUWAHATI: In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has announced organisational appointments. The appointments include State Election in-charges and co-in-charges for various states across the country.

Among the appointments, Capt Abhimanyu has been appointed as the In-charge for Assam, while M Chuba Ao will serve as the in-charge for Meghalaya. Other notable appointments include Ajit Gopchade, MP, as in-charge for Manipur, and Devesh Kumar, MLC, as in-charge for Mizoram.

Additionally, Naleen Kohli has been appointed as in-charge of Nagaland, and Avinash Rai Khanna as in-charge for Tripura. The appointments come into effect immediately, in preparation for the upcoming electoral contest.
