GUWAHATI: Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneshwar Kalita, who resigned from the party to protest against the party's stand on scrapping Article 370, is all set to join BJP.
According to sources, Bhubaneshwar Kalita is all set to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on August 9.

It is to be mentioned that Kalita had only a few months left in his tenure and was due to retire on April 9, 2020.
Earlier, Sanjay Singh, a member of the erstwhile Amethi royal family resigned from Congress to join the BJP.
