GUWAHATI: On Monday morning, students of KC Das Commerce College were in for a troubled start for their exams as the Athgaon area experienced a chaotic traffic situation, with commuters being stuck at an unmanned traffic crossing near Marwari Maternity Hospital (MMH).
According to the students and daily commuters, there was excessive traffic on both sides of the road. Many students from KC Das Commerce College were late for their exams.
Speaking to G Plus, Manpreet Suri, a student complained, "We need more traffic controllers as this traffic is a serious issue. I am a student and I have my exam in the college today. I have been simply stuck here since past 20 minutes."

The entire Chabipul road including Sarab Bhatti Charali to Bishnupur has been affected by the traffic snarl.
With festive season round the corner, most of Guwahati's roads leading to prime localities have been experiencing traffic jams.
