GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), Division-II, has released the official schedule for the Higher Secondary (HS) First Year Examination 2025. The exams will begin on March 6, 2025, and conclude on March 29, 2025. The notification was issued on January 21, 2025.

Examinations will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Exam Timings:
Morning Shift: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 01:30 PM to 04:30 PM
Additionally, for subjects with a total of 30 or 50 marks, the duration will be shortened, with the morning shift scheduled from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the afternoon shift from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
Exam Duration For 30/50 Marks:
Morning Shift: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
Afternoon Shift: 01:30 PM to 03:30 PM
Online Form Fill-Up Portal Reopened:
The ASSEB has also issued a notification regarding the reopening of the online form fill-up portal for HS First Year Examination-2025. The portal will be accessible from January 22, 2025 to January 30, 2025 up to 5:00 PM.
The notification further instructs Heads of Institutions to complete the online form fill-up process by January 30, 2025, as no further extensions will be granted.
