GUWAHATI: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) announced the postponement of the Higher Secondary 1st year examination (Class XI) Mathematics paper, which was originally scheduled for March 21 in the afternoon session.

In an official notification issued by the Controller of Examinations on Thursday, March 20, it was stated that the decision to postpone the exam was made due to unavoidable circumstances. The new date for the examination, along with further instructions, will be communicated in due course.
Assam Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu took to X, saying about the postponement of exam. “The Higher Secondary First Year Mathematics exam, scheduled for March 21, 2025 (Afternoon Session), has been postponed due to unavoidable reasons. New date & further updates will be notified soon.” he stated.
Students and concerned authorities are advised to stay updated with further announcements from the board regarding the rescheduled date.
