Talking to GPlus, Chauhan claimed that his performance made him the first player from Assam to hold two international winner trophies and one runner-up trophy in his age category.

Currently, he serves as the head lawn tennis coach at Don Bosco School. He is also an ITF and ATP certified tennis coach, an official tennis umpire, and an international senior-level player.

Karan Further said, "My mother, grandfather, two uncles, and one aunt were all professional players.
