An investigation is underway into the amount of money involved while police are validating the evidence received from the victims of the fraud.
GUWAHATI: The Tezpur police have apprehended Hemen Rabha, who is accused of embezzling crores through an online brokering platform known as Gini Capital on Tuesday, September 3.

Gini Capital reportedly operates one office in Noonmati, Guwahati, and two additional offices in Murhateteli and Ghoramari, Tezpur. Rabha is accused of siphoning off substantial sums from numerous individuals, including employees of Gini Capital.
Talking to the media regarding this matter, the Officer in-charge of Tezpur police station said, "We have received a piece of information about one Heman Rabha whose online brokering facility called Gini Capital sought money from individuals by luring high returns. The accused has been absconding after shutting down his office and based on the complaint received our team was able to apprehend him on Tuesday night."
