GUWAHATI: Amidst the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), singer-composer Vishal Dadlani hailed the courage of Assamese people for leading the protests against the CAA.
Dadlani on twitter wrote, "#Assam, we hear you, we see you, we stand as one with you. What you have been through with the failed NRC makes the entire Nations fight against CAA and NRC stronger. You are leading India, even if the mainstream media hasn't realised it yet. Joi Ai Axom, my friends!"
It is to be mentioned that on January 9 the All Assam Students’ Union's (AASU) Advisor, Samujjal Bhattacharya along with the artiste fraternity headed by Zubeen Garg came together in a protest under the appellation ‘Ranasinga’ (war bugle) against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
