GUWAHATI: Announcing the demise of former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Gogoi will be shifted to his official residence today.

The mortal remains of the three-time Chief Minister will be placed at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra tomorrow to allow well-wishers and admirers to pay their last respects.
Sarma further informed that Tarun Gogoi might be cremated in Guwahati itself after the necessary approval of his family members.
