Assam U-19 Cricket Squad Announced For Vinoo Mankad Trophy

 

GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association has announced its squad for the upcoming BCCI U-19 Men’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The team is set to play its first three matches in Cuttack, starting on October 4.

Dyutimoy Nath will captain the side, supported by a strong line-up including notable names such as Anurag Phukan, Ayushman Malakar, and Gaurav Chetry. Wicketkeeping duties will be shared between Kaushik Ranjan Das and Tushar Rudra Borah. 

In addition to the main team, nine players have been named as standby, offering further depth to the squad. The standby list includes Harsh Kumar, Doikho Das, and Aditya Roy Chowdhury, with Prabal Kalita also serving as an additional wicketkeeper.

The support staff, led by Head Coach Subhrajit Saikia, includes Dipankar Banerjee as coach, Anil Notvarbhai Patel as throwdown specialist, and Vinit Yadav as the team’s trainer.
