Assam To Take Up Rural Development Projects Worth ₹70.33 Crore

GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet approved the implementation of 94 projects during its meeting on Tuesday, November 20, 2024, at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati.

The approved projects worth ₹70.33 crore, will focus on soil conservation and agriculture sector.

Under this scheme, 60 soil conservation projects will be implemented, while 34 projects focused on the introduction of Solar Shallow Tubewell Minor Irrigation systems. 

These initiatives will be carried out under the National Bank For Agriculture And Rural Development’s (NABARD) RIDF-XXX program.
