Assam To Release ADRE Results On March 7; Know Details

GUWAHATI: The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) results for Third and Fourth Grade posts will be released on Friday, March 7. This was confirmed by the State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) during a press conference held at Khanapara Staff College on Thursday, March 6.

Addressing the media, Ajay Tiwari, Chairman of the Third Grade Recruitment Commission said that the results were fully prepared and will be uploaded by midnight for easy access.

"We want to inform you that the results are ready and will be announced tomorrow,” Ajay Tiwari said. “After 12 AM, we will try to upload them so that candidates can check their results in the morning. The cutoff marks will also be published tomorrow."

B Kalyan Chakravarthy, Chairman of the Fourth Grade Recruitment Commission and Ramesh Chandra Jain, Chairman of the Assam State School Education Board, were also present. 

A total of 13,36,106 candidates appeared for the Third Grade examination. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will further have to appear for a skill test, which will determine their final selection. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined scores of the written exam and skill test.

The ADRE Grade 3 recruitment examination was conducted in two phases:

- HSSLC (Class 12) positions – September 15
- Graduate-level and HSLC driver positions – September 29

For Grade 4, covering posts requiring HSLC, HSLC+ITI, and Class 8 qualifications, the exam was held on October 27.

The ADRE recruitment process has been conducted to fill 12,600 government vacancies across the state. This includes 7,600 Grade 3 positions and 5,000 Grade 4 positions. Following the written test, SLRC had released provisional answer keys, allowing candidates to raise objections. Authorities confirmed that valid objections have been reviewed and candidates whose objections were accepted will receive a refund of the objection fee.
