GUWAHATI: AI-based Shiksha Setu App in Assam reports a record-breaking surge in student attendance by registering a student attendance of over 30 lakh, equivalent to an impressive 69% attendance rate as stated by Assam State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu.
The Shiksha Setu App data states that 32,31,360 students were present with 1,90,666 teachers in attendance. The number of absentees in students was 14,70,813 as shared by the app data. These figures led to almost 70% attendance figure marking a first for the state.
Ranoj Pegu took to X to put out, “For the first time since we introduced AI based Shiksha Setu App, students attendance has crossed the 30 lakh (69%) mark today. My appreciation of the good service of the CRCCs and other teachers.”
