Assam's Lovlina Borgohain Ascended to World Ranking 3

GUWAHATI: Just ahead of Tokyo Olympic 2020, Assam Pugilist Lovlina Borgohain has ascended to World’s Third rank in the category of 69 kg.

The ranking was handed over to Borgohain by the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) Boxing Task Force.

It may be mentioned that the 23-year-old also is a two-time world bronze-medalist.

Meanwhile, Amit panghal has been ranked No. 1 in the light flyweight (Men's 49 kg) category. 

On the other hand, MC Mary Kom is ranked 5th in the 51 kg category.
