GUWAHATI: Robbers open fired in a bank branch in Assam's Nalbari in broad daylight. The incident happened in a Punjab National Bank (PNB) branch in Nalbari's Amayapur.

There were a total of four robbers, who came on bikes and looted around Rs 54 lakh.
G Plus spoke to Superintendent of Police (SP) Nalbari Amarjeet Kaur who confirmed the development. She further revealed one Narayan Das has been injured after the robbers open fired a bullet which ricocheted and hit the injured. Narayan Das was later shifted to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) and as per officials is now under stable condition.
The Police are now looking into the matter. "We have got some investigation leads and are looking into them," Kaur told G Plus.
