Assam Releases 3 More Covid-19 Patients after Recovery

GUWAHATI: Three Covid-19 patients were released on April 16, after being recovered, from Goalpara Civil Hospital. 

The names of the patients are Khabiruddin Ahmed, Shahjahan Ali Ahmed and Yusuf Ali.

They were released in presence of Health and Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Minister of State Pijush Hazarika. 

"As per Indian Council of Medical Research protocols, they have been sent to 14-day home quarantine after they tested negative in 2 successive tests," stated Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Earlier, on April 15, two Covid-19 patients of Assam were released from Sonapur Civil Hospital.

It should be mentioned that Assam has registered a total of 32 cases of coronavirus. Five patients have recovered, one has passed away and the remaining are undergoing treatment.
