The notices highlight concerns over statements made by the MLAs before the media, indicating their allegiance to the ruling party and the Chief Minister. Despite their previous vocal criticisms of issues such as corruption, land scams, and other contentious matters within the BJP government, the MLAs' recent expressions of support have raised questions within the APCC leadership.

The notices seek clarification from both MLAs within a day, questioning their stance on alleged corruption and objectionable issues within the BJP government. The APCC emphasised that the MLAs' statements and actions have caused unrest among party workers and have had a negative impact on the image of the Congress party.
