GUWAHATI: The Assam state government has made some transfers and reshuffles in the police department on August 1.
In two sepreate orders undersigned by Moniratna Mahanta, Secretary to the Government Assam a total of nine officers of SP ranks were transferred and posted with new responsibilities.
In the interest of public service, the Hailakandi Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohneesh Mishra has been transferred and posted as SP, CM’s SVC while Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati Ramandeep Kaur has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (L).
While, Assistant IGP (R), Guwahati, Ranjan Bhuyan has been transferred and posted as DCP (East), Guwahati while Mihirjyoti Gayan, SP, CM’s SVC has been transferred and posted as SP, SB (SOU).
Pabindra Kr Nath, DCP (Administration), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Hailakandi SP while Assistant IGP (L) Ripul Das has been transferred and posted as DCP (Central), Guwahati.
Guwahati Central DCP Dharmendra Kumar Das has been transferred and posted as IGP (R) while DIGP (Security) Devojyoti Mukherjee has been transferred and posted as DIGP (Border).
