GUWAHATI: The Assam state government has made some transfers and reshuffles in the police department on February 21, 2019.
In an order, the Assam government has transferred and posted 25 police officers in various ranks.
Ranjan Bhuyan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Police Commissionerate, Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Asstt. Inspector General of Police(R) Ulubari, Guwahati against existing vacancy.
Leena Doley, Addl Superintendent of Police (HQ) Majuli has been posted as the Superintendent of Police, CID, Assam, Ulubari, Guwahati.
Pratap Sinha, Commandant 6th AP(IR)Bn, Kathal Silchar has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 15th AP(IR)Bn, Eraligool, Karimganj.
Kamal Kumar Gupta, Addl Superintendent of Police (S), Kokrajhar has been posted as Superintendent of Police, FRRO, Headquarters, Guwahati.
Jayanta Choudhury, Superintendent of POlice, Human Rights Commission, Assam is transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd APTF Bn., Lumding.
