The APSC office has once again been in the news for its cash-for-job scam. A team led by ACP Sujit Saikia on Monday has raided the APSC head office, and investigated the illegal appointments made in the Agricultural Department.
APSC Chairman Rakesh Paul has been once again arrested on charges of cash-for job, and has been sent on a 14 days custody. Paul, the prime accused in the cash-for-job scam in the APSC, was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Wednesday.
The team, during the raid investigated the question papers, answer sheets and other valuable documents from the office.
