GUWAHATI: Assam Police archer Pallavi Das has won two more medals, one gold and one silver for Field and 3D Archery at the World Police and Fire Games 2019 in Chengdu, China.
Earlier, Das, who is engaged in the Special branch of Assam Police, had won gold in the traditional event.
Announcing her win, the Assam Police’s Twitter handle read, “It's Thundering Medals! Smti. Pallavi Das of SB wins two more medals in Field and 3D Archery at the World Police & Fire Games, China. Her medal tally stands at 3 - Two Gold and One Silver. You've made us all proud, Pallavi! #WorldPoliceAndFireGames.”
It should be noted that another athlete from Assam Police force, Tunlai Narzary, who is engaged in the 20th Assam Police (IR) Battalion, also won gold in shot put.
