GUWAHATI: Guwahatians who are yet to provide their photos for voters’ list can do so through WhatsApp. The District Election Office of Kamrup (M) has informed that citizens who have failed to upload their passport size photos for the voters' list need to do the needful at the earliest to avoid cancellation of name.
Nitin Khade, Chief Election Officer of Assam informed G Plus, "Many people have failed to complete their registration within the allotted time. So many districts have provided individual WhatsApp number to help the people and also to speed up the process. The WhatsApp numbers can be collected from the respective District Election Office."
For Kamrup (M), the number provided is 7577001889. Voters of all four constituencies of Kamrup (M) who have not submitted their photos need to upload a coloured passport size photo along with their name, address and EPIC number.
