GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway will introduce an intercity special train between Dekargaon and Dibrugarh from August 19 in a bid to improve connectivity.
In a notification issued on August 9, authorities from NF Railway mentioned that they have decided to introduce the special train “on an experimental basis for a period of six months.”
As per the notification, the train will be operational five days a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
It will depart from Dekargaon at 6.20 am and will arrive at Dibrugarh at 1.50 pm. Further, the train will depart from Dibrugarh at 3.00 pm and will reach Dekargaon at 10.40 pm.
The train will consist of 11 coaches.
