Assam: NF Railway Launches 4 More Special Trains to Accommodate Festive Crowd

GUWAHATI: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been running special trains to facilitate the smooth travel of passengers this festive season despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The railways have announced four more special trains in the state. These two pair of special trains will be in addition to the 13 pairs of festival specials, 21 pairs of passenger specials and 2 pairs of clone specials being run presently by NFR connecting various cities of the country. 


The special train no. 05606 will leave from Dibrugarh at 8:00 am on 11th November to reach Samastipur next day at 8:30 am. It will run via Bogibeel Bridge and will have stoppages at New Sisibargaon, North Lakhimpur, Rangapara North, Rangiya Jn, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, Raninagar Jalpaiguri, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar and Barauni Jn. 
 

Another special train bearing no. 05605 will leave from Rangapara at 7:00 am on 11th November to reach Izzatnagar the next day at 8:30 pm. This special train will have stoppages at Rangiya Jn, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, Raninagar Jalpaiguri, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni Jn, Hajipur, Chhapra, Gonda, Barabanki, Gorakhpur and Lucknow.
