GUWAHATI: In a devastating incident on Friday night, a newly appointed Grade III employee lost his life in a tragic accident on National Highway 15 in Sipajhar, Assam.
As per media reports, the young employee, Ujjal Nath, was on his way home after receiving his appointment letter in Guwahati on Thursday.
The accident occurred in the Bordoulguri area of Sipajhar. Ujjal Nath and his friend were travelling on a motorcycle from Mangaldoi when the accident took place.
As per media reports, a truck bearing the registration number WB 23 C 1161 collided with their bike, resulting in the fatal accident.
Ujjal Nath tragically passed away on the spot. At the same time, his friend was shifted to a nearby hospital, and his condition was critical.
The media reported that the accident happened just a few meters away from his house.
