Assam: Matriculation (HSLC) exams to begin from tomorrow

GUWAHATI: The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) exams (matriculation) will start from tomorrow, February 14 and will continue until March 2. 

According to the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA), the matriculation exams will be held in 857 centres across the state and a total of 3 lakh 53 thousand students will take part in these exams.

The 2018-19 examination will also have new elements. The students will have to use a pen with black ink in the exam and there will be no review for Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics. Moreover, the answer-scripts will have a barcode this time.

For security and other issues, the exam centres will have CCTV cameras and Flying Squads will be used at sensitive centres.
